PROFILE

Jenny Maria was born on March 10, 1972 on the family farm in one of small province in Indonesia. As a child Jenny never wasted a minute of her young imaginative mind on something that seemed to be boring. She spent most of her childhood finishing reading any kind of book and told what was mentioned in the book to every people around her. Once she said that she loved to make any one understand what was in her mind. It was at elementary school that Jenny first spoke in public. Her first speech was at independence day when she was asked to be ceremony leader. From that day on, she was always the first child to be asked to give a speech in the school. She became known as “the little speaker.”

Growing in a remote area didn’t make Jenny become a shy girl. When she was in Senior High School, sometimes her teacher asked Jenny to replaced her in explaining some lessons, especially Math and English language to other student. Nevertheless, she never thought that she was the greatest student in the class. When someone asked her what she was feeling when standing in front of the class telling the topic to her friends, she said ” I’m happy if my friend understand what I’ve explained”.

After she graduate from high school, Jenny decided to continue her study in one of famous university in Jakarta. She took faculty of education.  Jenny taught English lesson in some courses when she was studying in her college. Since she was keen up of the major, she finished her degree only in 3,5 years. After having her degree, she worked as an English teacher in one of a favorite school in Jakarta. Jenny tried to enroll some scholarship after all. Her parents and her friends encourage her to study abroad, then her effort had made Jenny join 1,5-year English training in University of Tokyo, Japan.

Coming back from Japan had made Jenny felt that she was eligible enough to get more experience. Once again Jenny succeeded to get the position. That chance had taken Jenny to have next scholarship in Sydney, Aussie.

When she was having her master degree in Sydney, Jenny asked by a friend to join blog area in their community. It made Jenny stepped ahead familiar in IT system ever since. She  started to get new lesson related IT so that she can reflect her skill not only in teaching, but also in technology.
